About Bellevue

The city of Bellevue is a up-and-coming city located just outside of the Seattle city limits in the beautiful state of Washington. Life in the Pacific North West has becoming increasingly desirable in recent years; hipster culture has caused an increased attraction to this area of the United States. As a result, Bellevue and cities like it have seen a dramatic increase in growth in population and economic stimulation as well. Families that live in Bellevue boast a very high quality of life, and the crime rate is also low, which makes it even more attractive to those looking for a great place to raise a family.

Because of its close location to Seattle, Bellevue reaps the benefits of being located within the metropolitan area of Seattle. Along with that comes access to all of the big city amenities (and hipster culture shows and art galleries) that Seattle has to offer. Many people that live in Bellevue commute to Seattle to work each day, as it is a very easy distance. Bellevue is also considered to be one of the most affluent cities in the state of Washington. Spun from the French phrase that means “beautiful view”, this town is appropriately named, as the clean, well-maintained streets and gorgeous, lush public park areas provide so many fun outdoor activities to locals.

One of the largest shopping areas in the Seattle metropolitan area is located in Bellevue, and is a very popular spot that brings in a lot of tourism, as well as business from locals throughout Washington state. Bellevue Square boasts many boutiques, fine dining spots, galleries, and big name retailers as well. As it continues to expand and develop, more shops and stores open up in the area, attracting even more business. Bellevue Square is also known for being friendly toward small businesses, and the hipster culture of the area benefits from this positive attitude toward small business owners.

Served by the Bellevue School District, students in Bellevue have access to several public high schools, a few private alternative schools for the high school level, a number of public and private middle schools, and numerous public and private elementary schools. Local charter schools are also very popular here in Bellevue. Several colleges and universities are also located in Bellevue, including the City University of Seattle and Bellevue College. For students of any level that may need a little extra after-school help, local Bellevue tutors are available to hire. These local tutors are eager to help each student learn and grow, reaching their personal educational goals.
